Recently, we designed lighting for their Saratoga lake house. Working collaboratively with Shakuff Studio in Brooklyn, we created and installed edgy, color glass fixtures to give their home a distinctive “wow” factor.
The couple had spent a long time trying to find the right lighting for their unique contemporary space, which features 20 feet ceiling and a breathtaking view of the lake. They also have a strong appreciation of architecture along with a European heritage of fine craftsmanship. It is very important to them that any part of their home reflects their deep appreciation of quality and detail.
We recommended that lighting be treated as an architectural element. We designed large glass fixtures with splashes of color that brought nature inside. The design of these original works of art went right through installation. On-site, we worked closely with the couple to adjust the glass components at varying heights to produce the most aesthetically pleasing result.
The finished project is lighting that delights the eye, showcases the space and reflects values of the owners of this beautiful lake home.
